I walked in and was greeted with a friendly welcome. The chicken taco was amazing and the fajita salad was enough for 2-3 people. Great atmosphere better food. To state that some of the reviews I read are not taking into account that they were from tourists during busy season in the busiest part of bear. We have to staff according to season here and honestly the food was incredible. This will be a new spot for me.

Beautiful cantina! The birria tacos were so delicious we ate them before getting a pic! The margaritas are very generous, but their flavor could be a bit better. Other than that I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back! We loved it

Muchachos was a decent spot to stop and eat for an 8pm on Sunday. Many places are close to closing already. The tacos were good, the shrimp was a hit with a friend;they ordered an additional shrimp taco. The mahi taco was also good. Seemed there was only one server working along with the bartender. Service was a little slow, as expected. Clean bathrooms, parking is along the front of building or public parking not far away.

Very friendly staff, very family friendly. Also very accommodating to food allergies thanks to having a real in-house chef preparing everything fresh. This is a favorite spot of mine for Big Bear Lake.. Recommend the tacos, and my son loves the burritos. The shrimp is their specialty. My wife loves the chicken taquitos.

We came in on a Sunday morning to have our final breakfast in Big Bear. The ambiance, decorations, and artwork set the tone for a great experience. We did not have any expectations of the food based on our location, however, we were blown away by the different flavors. With multiple salsas ranging from mild and hot was great. We had a birria soup and bomb green chilaquiles that were delicious. I would recommend this place, good food, great services, and decent prices!

My family is visiting from Chicago and we found this AMAZING place to have lunch! The tacos are indescribably DELICIOUS! We had the Birria, steak, shrimp and Barbacoa tacos and we didn’t leave a crumb behind! The beer and drinks were also very well served!! We recommend this place to anyone that wants to have an excellent eating experience! Best place EVER!

We wanted to debunk a few one star reviews we saw, first of all our food did not take even close to an hour to come, our waiter Anthony was amazing kindest man on the face of the earth, the drinks were great and the food was not bland at all. Will be coming back here (not Outback or claim jumpers) next time we’re in big bear! This place is bussin, Ryan Trahan needs to come rate this place, if I could give it six stars I would. GET THE BIRRIA TACOS!!!!! 10/10!!!!

came in while exploring the village. not very busy but did take a while to be served. waitress was very friendly and helpful. the margaritas were very good. got the potato tacos off her recommendation and was not disappointed! bathrooms were very nice & clean.

Great live music. Good chips and salsa. Wanted it hotter but then I saw that some people actually complained about hot salsa. If you're complaining about salsa being hot, at a Mexican restaurant, maybe you're not meant for this. Anyways, we were greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, had our order taken and our food at the table within 15 min. Great experience.

Amazing little place. We had their chicken tacos, fajitas, house margaritas, and micheladas. Prices were great for the portion size. Definitely recommend!
